non-judgmental atmosphere.
Who we minister to:
NorthCARE ministers to individuals,
couples, and families. Our ministries
also include small groups. Evening and
weekend appointments are available
everyday except Wednesday.
NorthCARE offers a variety of small
groups. These groups are strictly confidential and include topics
regarding God’s restoration for
individuals who were dealing with
intense emotions. Topics include, but
are not limited to:

Meetings with NorthCARE ministers are
strictly confidential
(for adults), and are held in an
encouraging, non-judgmental atmosphere. Faith-Based Counseling (Legal): On
September 1, 1997, the State of Texas
passed into law House Bill 2481. This
law allowed faith-based chemical
dependent treatment providers to apply
with the Texas Commission on Alcohol and
Drug Abuse (TCADA) for an exemption from
licensure. This law has opened the door
for religious organizations to provide
faith-centered counseling on a par level
status with other recognized counseling
organizations. Faith-Based counseling
programs are registered with the TCADA
but are exempt from licensure. For more

The treatment and recovery status
at North CARE Biblical Counseling Center
are exclusively religious in nature and
are not subject to licensure or
regulation by the Texas Commission on
Alcohol and Drug Abuse. This program
offers only non-medical treatment and
recovery methods such as prayer, moral
guidance, spiritual counseling, and
scriptural study in the Word of God, the
Holy Bible.
