The
North Care Foundation's
Clothe-A-Child Program is a
501c(3) non-profit organization
dedicated to addressing the
clothing needs of financially
underprivileged children who
live in the Dallas-metro
communities.
Mission
Our mission is to address
the clothing needs of needy and
underprivileged children. It is
accomplished through our
partnership with Kohl’s
Department Stores and local
school districts that help
identify those children who are
in need of assistance. Funds are
provided through individuals,
businesses, and other local
organizations. School officials
have informed us that this
program is the only known
available program meeting the
clothing needs of the children.
The schools also report that the
program positively affects the
self esteem of the children as
well as providing for their
clothing needs.

Our Goal
TNC Clothe-A-Child has set a
goal to increase the number of
children it clothes year after
year. Providing clothing for
these children gives warmth to
their bodies and their hearts.
You will be helping children put
their feet into new shoes which
will allow them to walk with
confidence knowing that there
are people that care. Every
dollar, that’s right 100% of
your tax deductible donation,
goes directly to the purchase of
shoes and clothing for the
children selected to participate
in the program.

Our History
TNC Clothe-A-Child was
started in 1989 by Dr. Lawrence
Kennedy where it clothed 25
children. Since then it has
clothed over 6,600 children with
a high of over 720 in 2000. The
North Care Foundation (TNC)
incorporated in June of 2003 and
is seeking to partner with many
more local businesses. This year
TNC Clothe-A-Child would like to
clothe over 1000 children.
In order to help more children,
The organization is run by
volunteers with each shopping
event averaging over 200
volunteers.
Year after year the NEED
increases… And in order to keep
up so must TNC Clothe-A-Child
donations…. Can you get
involved?
